| Description | SyRS is a natural language based retrieval system for English texts. The prototype was originally developed by Dr. Abdelhamid Bouchachia in his PhD thesis. The system was adopted during my internship (Praxissemester) at the Alpen-Adria Universität Klagenfurt to fit German texts as well. In order to accomplish this task it was necessary to restructure the complete system architecture. Additionally, a web frontend prototype was implemented that allowed basic web-based access to the underlying backend. |
